Day 65 - Trust Walk

Trust Walk Day 65: I trust You, Lord.  The enemy’s plans are uncovered. Jeremiah 11

How do you handle the site of roofs of peoples' houses off all over?  Everywhere you look, there are slithers of silver metal all over the hillside. As you sleep, a constant banging noise is heard as the metal that wasn’t completely removed from someone’s roof flaps back and forth, hitting the rafters of the building. It can be a very distressing site. It definitely isn't pleasant, but when you get the revelation that God is uncovering the sins and plots of evil ones, you can rest assured that it's His perfect design.  So you either repent (turn away from, completely change directions, stop doing it) or be thankful you are righteous. If you aren't sure, repent because otherwise your dirty laundry is about to be aired out.

In Jeremiah 11, God converses with Jeremiah. He has Jeremiah to warn the people about what would happen if they did not obey the voice of God and keep the covenant made with their ancestors. If they obeyed God, He would return them to His bosom and they would see the promise land.  The people were plotting to return to their old ways.  God knew this so He let Jeremiah know what would happen to them.

Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. Jeremiah 11: 11-14 KJV

Look around you. What evil is in your land?  What’s going on?  Has a disaster struck after the disaster?  What if your instructions were NOT to intercede for the people of the land because they have made other gods? As many gods as there are cities?  What would you do?  If you pray, God tells you He will not hear you?  Oh the horror!!!

And the Lord hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. Therefore thus saith the Lord of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hand: Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine: And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation. Jeremiah 11:18-23 KJV

But you know what? Just as God will reveal to you the plans He has for you, He will also show you the plans of others and the land.  He will warn you.  He won’t let you be slaughter like an unknowing lamb.  Things people have hidden, the plots they have concocted, the plans that are secretly in motion…like the homes that were uncovered so are the plans and secret things of your enemies.  This is the season of uncovering.  Heads will roll!  People will be shocked, but not you!  Stay under the blood because it’s about to get messy.

In the know,
